Yakap! You Are Not Alone
The Supreme Student Council Federation (SSCF) aims to spread mental health awareness to the fellow students of Southern Luzon State University especially in this trying times. Based on the data from the recent SSCF’s Pre-Assessment Assistance Form, it is seen that 27.1% (1,477) students don’t have anyone they can talk to with their problems are home. The Yakap, YANA (You Are Not Alone) project will help the students to end the stigma, promote emotional well- being practices and foster positive outlook.
The project will be held on November 28 -29, 2020 and is composed of a two-day webinar that will show the various ways of coping in mental health with the collaboration of the local councils. With this project, it is expected that the students of Southern Luzon State University and student regents of other universities in the Philippines, shall be open about their emotions, will be constructive and will be able to seek help to mental health professionals.
