Thousand Beneficiaries of AICS Assembles at SLSU
The Southern Luzon State University, in collaboration with Lucban LGU, housed a thousand beneficiaries for the Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Payout, November 12, 2021.
AICS Payout is a project under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). This service is for the poor, marginalized, and vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals, providing technical assistance and resource augmentation support to LGUs and other partners.
Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, in her message, emphasized that SLSU supports programs that help the marginalized, especially the people of Lucban.
She also stressed the importance of the guidance of the parents to their child’s learning and as the opening of student admission in SLSU, she hopes that the attendees’ children will have a chance to study at the university.
The AICS Payout will also conduct their services tomorrow, November 13, 2021. The second batch of beneficiaries will be coming from the list of disadvantaged individuals classified by the Lucban LGU. In addition, the team of Sen. Bong Go extended help to the attendees.
