SLSU, STAARRDEC conducts Training on Agricultural Products
The Southern Luzon State University, and Southern Tagalog Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research, Development and Extension Consortium (STAARRDEC) conducted a series of training on agricultural products.
The project, “Pagpapayabong ng mga Produktong Agrikultura: Sagot ng STAARRDEC laban sa CoVID-19,” ran for four days: preparation of organic fertilizer on Mar. 24, 2021; container gardening on Mar. 25; snap hydroponics on Oct. 26; and product development on Nov. 2.
The training benefitted 30 people: 7 senior citizens; 3 from Rural Improvement Club (RIC); 5 from Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps); 8 farmers; 3 from MAFC; 1 solo parent; and 1 displaced worker.
LOOK: Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes signed the detailed engineering design plan for the construction of the building of SLSU – College of Medicine (COM). Witnesses of the signing are representatives from the DPWH, Arch. Jude Paulo O. Luce; and Planning and Development Office Director, Engr. Maribelle Gaytano.
