SLSU-SSCF extends a hand to communities in need

In partnership with the Office of Extension Services, the Supreme Student Council Federation of Southern Luzon State University distributed gift packs to selected communities in Tiaong, Quezon, March 25, 2021 as part of the 14th Universityhood Anniversary Celebration.

The activity was led by the Student Council Senator Cymon Rey and was supported by the Office of the Student Regent through the leadership of Hon. Geraldin Astrid A. Aguilar and the OES through Engr. Lourdes Quevada.

The student leaders also conducted discussions on environmental education, safety and hygiene, and voter’s education.

In a Facebook post, SSCF adviser Angelo Shan Encomienda said: “Nakakaproud makita ang mga lider-estudyante ng ating unibersidad na patuloy na nagpapamalas ng kanilang pagmamahal sa bayan sa kabila ng init, layo, at banta ng pandemya. Pag-asa talaga sila ng bayan! Mabuhay!”
