SLSU, SOLCOM establish partnership with Mr. Licup
Southern Luzon State University established a partnership with Mr. Nelson Licup and the South Luzon Command (SOLCOM) through a ceremonial signing of commitment letter held at the CAM Auditorium, Sept. 1.
The ceremonial signing was attended by Mr. Nelson Licup, scholarship benefactor; Major Eranio Villamiel PA, Major Randell Wandag, and CPT Alessandro Cruzada of SOLCOM; and Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, Dr, Frederick T. Villa, Dr. Gondelina A. Radovan, Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, Dr. Chona V. Cayabat, Dr. Joanna Paula Ellaga-Verano, Dr. Marietta A. Villaverde, and Dr. Nilo O. Dator of SLSU.
“Education is known to elevate a country from poverty. Let us nurture the dream of becoming at par with developed nations through education,” Mr. Licup stated in his response to the messages of commitment delivered by the officials of SLSU.
The scholarship grant will cover the tuition fees of 15 officers from SOLCOM. A Memorandum of Understanding will be undertaken between the three parties after the MOU has been approved by the Board of Regents of SLSU and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
