SLSU renews MOA with DOLE IV-A, LGU Lucban

Southern Luzon State University renewed the Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment IV-A and the Local Government of Lucban, Quezon at the Banahaw Hall, SLSU Hotel, Aug. 4.

SLSU was represented by Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, university president, while DOLE was represented by Regional Director Exequiel Ronie A. Guzman and Assistant RD Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leaño, II.

The partnership with DOLE will allow the Career and Job Placement Unit of the Office of Student Affairs and Services to continuously provide job opportunities to its students and the entire community, not only in Lucban but also all throughout Quezon province.

“Our partnership will prove to be most beneficial to all our stakeholders because of the convergence of our efforts and good will,” Dr. Zoleta-Nantes stated during her message of commitment.

The renewal of the MOA was facilitated by Asst. Prof. Noreen P. Echague, head of the CJP unit, and Dr. Marietta A. Villaverde, dean of OSAS.
