SLSU Calauag backed by LGU, allots 2.3M fund
The local government unit of Calauag, Quezon showed its support to the extension campus of SLSU Calauag by allotting 2.3M fund.
Representatives from LGU Calauag met with SLSU President Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes to discuss the possibility of turning SLSU Calauag into a satellite campus. Further, the meeting talked about the appointment of a director, having additional courses such as fisheries, and the possibility of admitting students who are residents of Calauag. Moreover, Quezon Gov. Angelina “Helen” Tan allotted 30M for the building of SLSU Calauag.
SLSU and Calauag LGU will still be having a meeting later in the month of July for more detailed planning.
