Satellite campus reps bag grand prize in TikTok singing, dancing contests
As part of the 14th Universityhood Anniversary Celebration of Southern Luzon State University, the Faculty and Employee Association and Employee Association, led by its presidents Prof. Gerald Villasenor and Ms. Marilyn R. Baer, respectively, organized TikTok singing and dancing contests.
Grand prize winners of the two contests came from two satellite campuses of SLSU. Prof. Ferdinand Rellorosa and Prof. Salvo Salvacion of SLSU Tiaong bagged the first prize in the TikTok dancing contest while Prof. Jermine F. Alinea of SLSU Lucena bagged the first prize in the TikTok singing contest.
All employees, both teaching and non-teaching, contractual or regular, were eligible to participate in the contest. The contests were a way for the employees and faculty members to come together, albeit online, and sublimate the stress and anxiety they might be experiencing because of the pandemic.
