Congress approves HB for Radyo, TV SLSU on Third Reading
The House of Representatives approved on Third Reading House Bill No. 10122 or An Act Granting Southern Luzon State University a franchise to construct, establish, operate, and maintain a Network of Radio and Television Stations in its Campuses, Sept. 20, 2021.
According to the Official Twitter account of the House of Representatives, the approval came after a 200-0-0 voting in the Lower House during its regular sessions.
The bill which was sponsored by Cong. Mark Enverga, Cong. Aleta Suarez, Cong. Anna Villaraza-Suarez, Cong. David “Jay-Jay Suarez, and Cong. Angelina “Helen” Tan is set to be elevated to the Senate for approval.
The establishment of Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations is an opportunity for SLSU to enrich its approaches in providing education, training, and valuable information to its clienteles, including students and various communities.
