CHED-RQAT Evaluates BSIT Courses in SLSU Infanta, SLSU Tayabas for COPC
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) conducted a remote evaluation of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Electrical Technology offered in the Southern Luzon State University Infanta Campus, as well as BS in Industrial Technology major in Computer Technology in SLSU Tayabas.
The assessment was conducted via virtual conference on November 9, 2021 with Engr. Marianne Yumul as the evaluator for BSIT major in Electrical Technology and Dr. Cesar Llorente for the BSIT major in Computer Technology. Present in the evaluation are Dr. Wendy Nombrefia, Dr. Moses Macalinao and other faculty members. While Mr. Percival C. Verano facilitated the program.
Both evaluators suggested enhancement with the programs’ curriculum. Engr. Yumul also emphasized the importance of educational advancement of the faculty members under the SLSU Infanta BSIT major in Electrical Technology.
The two campuses promised for an immediate compliance to offer better services.
The RQAT remote evaluation is essential in ensuring the quality of the programs offered by the university to its students. It is conducted to acquire the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) and continue offering the program in the campus.
