CHED RQAT conducts evaluation of Education programs in main campus
The Commission on Higher Education – Regional Quality Assurance Team conducted a remote evaluation of the Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education, and Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education programs offered in the College of Teacher Education of Southern Luzon State University.
The evaluation was conducted via Zoom Cloud conferencing Sept. 15, 2021 and was facilitated by Prof. Percival C. Verano, director of the Office of Instruction and Quality Assurance (OIQA). The team of the degree programs was led by Dr. Marife S. Magpantay, Dean of CTE.
Mr. Romalyn L. Galingan, Dr. Ferdinand C. Somido, and Dr. Alberto D. Yazon expressed their observations and suggestions on improvement that could be made on the program. They also provided suggestions on the various areas of development for the BEED, BSED, BTVTED, and BCAED programs.
The RQAT remote evaluation is essential in ensuring the quality of the programs offered by the university to its students. It is conducted to acquire the Certificate of Program Compliance and continue offering the program in the campus.
