The Commission on Higher Education – Regional Quality Assurance Team conducted an evaluation for the Bachelor of Technical Vocation Teacher Education program offered in the Lucena campus of Southern Luzon State University.

The evaluation was conducted via Zoom meeting last July 7, 2021 and was facilitated by Prof. Percival C. Verano, director of the Office of Instruction and Quality Assurance (OIQA). The team of the BTVTEd was led by Dr, Roland Calderon, director of Lucena campus, and Prof. Nona Nagares, Program Chair of BTVTEd.

“Activities such as these are important in the goal of SLSU to further improve the quality of technical-vocational education not only in lowland campuses but also in the island and coastal campuses of the university,” Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, university president, stated.

Dr. Rowena R. Abrea and Dr. Ronald A. Gonzales expressed their observations and suggestions on the expertise of the faculty members. They also provided suggestions on the professional development of the faculty members and library development.
