CHED Accepts SIKAP Grant Applications for Part-time Study

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is still accepting scholarship applications for the Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) until October 31, 2021.

CHED has approved the part-time study for the SIKAP Grant in pursuant to RA 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994 and in accordance with CHED Memorandum Order No. 15 series of 2019 or the Policies, Standards and Guidelines for Graduate Programs.

Individuals qualified for the scholarships are: tenured or with plantilla item including those on temporary appointment, full-time contractual or contract of service, and part-time faculty.

The scholarship privileges include monetary support for tuition and other fees that vary on the employment status of the qualified individual and their academic degree.

The grant requires the applicant to submit a certificate of employment with years of service; certification of performance rating, recommendation forms, and other documents. To apply for the program, click here: https://bit.ly/3Ce1ptB.

This program aims to provide educational support to faculty and personnel of higher education institutions (HEIs) who want to pursue advanced studies and contribute in the enhancement of quality tertiary education instruction and delivery.
