SLSU, to offer CHED SIKAP Grant
Southern Luzon State University was accredited as a Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) for the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Scholarships for Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) Grant, May 6, 2021.
Through the efforts of the Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Mari Jane A. Lee, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gondelina A. Radovan, students of the Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, MA Nursing, MA Psychology, and MS Environmental Science programs can now enjoy the benefits of the SIKAP Grant.
The said program covers the actual cost of tuition fees of qualified grantees. Grantees also receive up to Php33,000 monthly living allowance; up to Php12,000 book allowance (per academic year); up to Php12,000 transportation assistance; and up to Php100,000 thesis/dissertation/capstone project allowance, depending on the level of higher education pursued by the grantee.
Additional privileges include student research support fund for both students and mentor and early completion incentives.
