SLSU, Tan, Enverga collabs for COM Building Design
The Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) facilitated a meeting with Quezon Representative Dra. Helen Tan, Congressman Wilfredo Mark Enverga, and other lawmakers for the architectural design and layout proposal of the College of Medicine Building, Jan. 31, 2022.
The Planning and Development Office (PDO) presented proposals for floor plans, and architectural designs. The lawmakers, along with Cong. Tan, and Cong. Enverga, Lucban Mayor Celso Olivier T. Dator, Hon. Anacleto A. Alcala III, and Hon. Claro M. Talaga Jr. voiced out their support to the college and suggested building specifications.
PDO, DPWH and the architect of Cong. Tan’s camp, Arch. Albert Ryan Gerona, agreed to collaborate for the project. During the meeting, it was negotiated that the PDO will submit a floor plan, and perspective of the building to Arch. Gerona while he will initiate additional planning. The target date for the whole building plan will be on Mar. 1.
A follow-up meeting will commence on Feb. 8 to discuss the development of the project.
