SLSU Receives Award for Winning 2nd place in CMCI Academic Symposium
Southern Luzon State University bagged the second place in the 3rd Annual Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Academic Symposium held via Zoom Cloud Conferencing last Sept. 17, 2021 and received gift certificates as an award, today, November 2, 2021.
The research paper of SLSU entitled “SULONG QUEZON!”: Comparative Analysis of 2019 and 2020 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index of Quezon Province” was authored by Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes and Prof. Jed Frank Marqueses and Mr. Charly Lacorte of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Among the winners of the annual academic symposium is Polytechnic University of the Philippines which bagged the third place and the University of Perpetual Help Dalta-Molino System which bagged the first place.
The Annual CMCI Academic Symposium was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry – Competitiveness Bureau and celebrated with the theme: “Innovation, Competitiveness, and Sustainable Development in the New Normal.”
