Southern Luzon State University entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Local Government Unit of Mauban, Quezon in a face-to-face MOA signing ceremony held at the Mauban Municipal Hall, Aug. 9.
The said partnership was facilitated by the Psychology department of the College of Arts and Sciences through the efforts of the Dr. Shiela M. Manzanilla, dean of the college; Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, VP for REPDI; Prof. Gino Cabrera; Prof. Fides Joyce Llegado; and Prof. Noreen Echague; and the Office of Extension Services through Engr. Lourdes Quevada.
Through the partnership, the psychology department will provide psychological and other services such as trainings, seminars, interventions, and workshops to the clienteles served by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of the municipality.
In her speech, Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes emphasized the importance of the project since she mentioned that “the state of children is the measure of development of a society.”
