The Southern Luzon State University – Office of Research Services conducted the program “Virtual Writeshop on Crafting Funding-worthy Proposals” for its faculty members, November 9, 2021.
Dr. Marissa Esperal, VP for Research, Extension, Production, Development, and Innovation (REPDI) welcomed the attendees, and hoped that through this program, the participants can contribute to the progress of the university’s research.
Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, on the other hand, inspired the participants to conduct research by stating the importance of research when it comes to helping communities. She also thanked the virtual writeshop committee in conducting the program.
The program proper included the following topic: doing SLSU-funded research – the right way; GAD as a cross-cutting concern – gaps to be addressed; employing the harmonized gender and development guidelines (HGDH) tool in your research; and writing a good literature review.
ORS Dir. Dr. Delia R. Babilonia, GAD Head Dr. Susana A. Salvacion, Certified National GAD Resource Pool PCW Dr. Nelia C. Cresino, and Department of Languages, Literature, and Humanities Head Dr. Nicanor L. Guinto discussed their respective topic while Ms. April Arianne A. de Leon facilitated the program.
The program ended with the host encouraging the participants to submit their research proposals.
