SLSU Celebrates Children’s Month with a 2-part Webinar
The Gender and Development (GAD) Office conducts a two-part webinar in the celebration of the Children’s Month with the theme “Sama-samang itaguyod ang Karapatan ng Bawat Bata sa Panahon ng Pandemya.”
In the first webinar, GAD Head Dr. Susana A. Salvacion, in her opening remarks, stressed that the challenge of having happy children lies on parents, guardians, and partners.
VP for REPDI, Dr. Marissa C. Esperal recognized the vulnerability of the children, stating that the most defenseless are the young children.
Meanwhile SLSU President, Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes encouraged everyone to provide the best educational space for the children so that they can continue to be the hope of the society.
Mental health Consultant, Ms. Rica Joyce C. Maquinto, RPM was the guest speaker, she discussed the topic, “Save our Children to Violence: Online Discussions About the Violence Within Web Space and Physical Space.”
