Mentoring Session for GS-DBA & MBA Programs – October 9, 2021

The mentoring started with the brief opening program (for it was rescheduled last session), providing background on SLSU-CESO partnership by OIAA Director and DBA & MBA Program Chair Dr. Joanna Paula E. Verano, inspirational message by GS Dean Dr. Mari Jane A. Lee, presentation of GS Faculty by the program chair, and introduction of CESO Advisor by Project Officer Mr. Vener Valerio. CA Dr. John O’Dwyer continued the discussion on “Getting it Done Management System” and added the 3D theory, and gave some tips on how to make one’s management style more effective. In applying the topic, CA O’Dwyer divided the participants into breakout session for an activity. Some outputs were shared which led to an exchange of reflection and insights. It was a fruitful and engaging session which was attended by 86 of which 79 are students (29 male, 50 female) and 7 facilitators-CESO advisor and officer, faculty and staff (3 male, 4 female).
