LGU Lucban donates 1 million pesos to SLSU
The Local Government of Lucban donated 1 million pesos to Southern Luzon State University as part of the 57th Founding Anniversary of the university in a program held at the SLSU Gymnasium, Aug. 9.
The donation was granted by the Sangguniang Bayan ng Lucban through the initiative of Hon. Celso Olivier T. Dator, municipal mayor, and accepted by Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, university president; Dr. Frederick T. Villa, VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Dr. Gondelina A. Radovan, VP for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, VP for Research, Extension, Production, Development, and Innovation.
In their messages, Hon. Dator and Dr. Nantes emphasized the continuing partnership between SLSU and the LGU in order to usher in development through the education of the youth and through public service.
The donation was made to assist Southern Luzon State University in its plans of expanding its operations in Lucban, Quezon and cater to the needs of more students all across the CALABARZON Region.
