CHED RQAT conducts evaluation of AB History program
The Commission on Higher Education – Regional Quality Assurance Team conducted a remote evaluation of the Bachelor of Arts in History program offered in the College of Arts and Sciences of Southern Luzon State University.
The evaluation was conducted via Google Meet conferencing Sept. 7, 2021 and was facilitated by Prof. Percival C. Verano, director of the Office of Instruction and Quality Assurance (OIQA). The team of AB History was led by Prof. Douglas P. Peña, chair of the degree program, and Dr. Shiela M. Manzanilla, Dean of CAS.
Mrs. Renifer Francisco, Dr. Jesse R. Songcayawon, and Dr. Lou Jusay expressed their observations and suggestions on the library holdings related to the History program and the qualifications of the core faculty members of the program. They also provided suggestions on the various areas of development for the AB History program.
The RQAT remote evaluation is essential in ensuring the quality of the programs offered by the university to its students. It is conducted to acquire the Certificate of Program Compliance and continue offering the program in the campus.
